First and foremost, let us apologize for being off-line for what seemed like an eternity.
This coming year will be a time of growth for CUCE-NYC. We are committed to making our programs more accessible to the residents of New York City and will continue to open offices in all the boroughs while maintaining a presence in midtown Manhattan. This past year we’ve opened three new offices.
With particular emphasis on nutrition and health, we plan to expand
programs and hire new staff members in several programs. We will use our technology to increase the availability of program and research information.
CUCE-NYC works actively with other urban centers in the United States to determine common interests. Given the international context of New York City we will continue to explore appropriate international extension opportunities through our work with the United Nations, USDA, and others.
Again, thank you for your patience as we continue our commitment to
“evidence-based practice” as a means of meeting New York City needs, and we will continue to integrate the research, teaching, and extension mission of Cornell University in our programs.
