Environmental Public Health

Everyone’s health is influenced by their physical surroundings.  From mold and dust inside homes to heavy metals in the soil of schools and community gardens, our health is constantly affected by indoor and outdoor environments.  Our programs seek to understand environmental risks and how science-based methods can reduce those risks. In addition, our programs educate residents about how New York City’s ecological resources can help improve human health.
