Outdoor Urban Adventures

New York City is filled with many opportunities for residents and city visitors to interact outdoors with nature.  These explorations of urban ecology allow individuals to be more physically active while simultaneously learning more about their natural environment.  However, these opportunities are oftentimes unknown or hard to access.

Our experiential, place-based outdoor adventures easily connect adults and youth with history and science by providing them with opportunities to explore the marine, woodland, and farm/garden environments unique to New York City.

New York City high school students explore Governors Island.
